The Dish Magazine
deputy editor in chief, photographer, designer
The Dish is UW-Madison’s premier food & dining magazine. Entirely student run from conception to layout, it covers anything food-related and publishes two bi-annual issues per year.
From local restaurant gems to revived home recipes, finding flavors that dance is the pathway to any heart and soul. Getting to know stories of passionate chefs and understanding traditional dishes gives us a connection to the food we consume by allowing us to play with it a little first.
I credit this publication for uncovering my love of writing. I published articles in four print issues, and had my photography published in a few as well. In the In Full Bloom issue, I crafted layouts and designed graphics to complete the aesthetic. As you flip through these pages, it's hard not to get hungry...
Below is a small selection of my published work. More samples available upon request.
